Are you ready to dive into the world of coding and create amazing projects? This summer, the Code Early Club is excited to offer an action-packed 4-week Coding Summer Program, from August 5th to August 30th, excluding weekends. Each week, kids will have the opportunity to explore a new and exciting area of coding, interact with industry experts, and bring their creative ideas to life.
Program Highlights:
Week 1: Python Desktop Software Development with Tkinter
- Dates: August 5th – August 9th
- Description: Learn to build your very own desktop applications using Python and Tkinter! Create fun and interactive programs like calculators, to-do lists, and even simple games. This course will equip you with the skills needed for future roles such as Software Developer, Application Developer, and Systems Programmer. Understanding desktop application development is a great foundation for any coding career and will boost problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
Week 2: Power Apps
- Dates: August 12th – August 16th
- Description: Discover the power of low-code development with Power Apps! Design and develop custom apps that can help solve everyday problems or just be fun to use. From managing your school tasks to creating a virtual pet care app, the possibilities are endless. Skills gained here are useful for roles like Business Analyst, App Developer, and IT Consultant. Learning Power Apps will give you a head start in creating business solutions and understanding how to streamline processes.
Week 3: Graphics and Animations
- Dates: August 19th – August 23rd
- Description: Enter the colorful world of graphics and animations! Learn how to create stunning visuals and animations using various graphic design tools. Turn your creative stories into animated reality and impress your friends and family. This course can lead to future roles such as Graphic Designer, Animator, and Multimedia Artist. Mastering graphic design tools will help you bring any digital idea to life and is a valuable skill in many creative industries.
Week 4: Front End Development
- Dates: August 26th – August 30th
- Description: Step into the shoes of a web developer and design your very own website! Learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create beautiful and interactive web pages. Build your own online portfolio, a personal blog, or even a fan site for your favorite game or hobby. This course prepares you for roles such as Web Developer, UI/UX Designer, and Front End Engineer.
